Services

Correctional Services oversees adult offenders (ages 18 and older) while residing in correctional institutions or while on probation or parole. Our mandate is to enhance community safety through effective offender supervision, care, custody and intervention, thereby influencing positive behavioural change and reintegration of offenders into the community as productive citizens

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers act as reliable and knowledgeable sources of information for treatment programs and skills training. The programmes and services currently offered include:pastoral counselling; Alcoholics Anonymous groups; Narcotics Anonymous groups; library services; education and life skills training; parenting and employment skills; interpreter services; and discharge planning.
